A year of completion and an EXTRAORDINARY next chapter
|
As I approach my 50th birthday, I’ve been thinking about the milestones we traditionally celebrate in life. I’ve never had a wedding. I’ve never had a baby shower. And I never had those moments when the people who love you gather around and help you build the next chapter of your life.
So for my 50th birthday, I’m creating one. I’m asking my friends, family and community to help me complete a dream that has become deeply meaningful to me: finishing my 140-year-old home in Vermont. My goal is to raise $150,000 to complete the renovation and bring this house, and the vision surrounding it, fully to life. This Is More Than a House Years ago, I bought an old Vermont home with a dream of restoring it. Like many dreams worth having, the journey didn’t unfold according to plan. What began as a shared renovation eventually became a project I had to carry forward largely on my own. At the same time, I was rebuilding other parts of my life and taking the leap into creating my own business. The renovation has taken longer, cost more, and asked more of me than I ever imagined. But I haven’t been able to give up on it. Because somewhere along the way, the house became a metaphor for my own life. I’ve spent years helping restore its foundation, straighten what had shifted, replace what could no longer support it, preserve what was beautiful, and create something new without erasing its history. And I realized: That’s exactly what I’ve been doing with myself. It’s also the work I now do with other people. The Vision My work is centered around helping people Come Home to Yourself™. I teach people how to understand the architecture of their minds, regulate their nervous systems, transform old subconscious patterns, reconnect with who they are, and intentionally build the life they want to inhabit. This Vermont house has become the physical expression of that philosophy. My dream is to finish it as a beautiful home and gathering place for healing, creativity, connection, retreats, meaningful conversations, and transformation. And the story doesn’t end with the renovation. This journey is becoming part of the book I intend to write, the programs I’m developing, the work I hope to teach and speak about, and the larger platform I’m building around human flourishing and transformation. Finish the house. Tell the story. Share what I learned. Help other people come home to themselves. That’s the vision I’m inviting you into. My 50th Birthday Goal: $150,000 This year, instead of asking for traditional birthday gifts, I’m asking for something much more meaningful: Help me finish what I started. My goal is to raise $150,000 to complete the Vermont renovation. There are many ways to be part of it. You can simply make a gift in any amount. You can purchase one of my hypnotherapy experiences. You can stay at the house once it’s completed. You can gather friends and rent the entire house. You can even come to Vermont for a work staycation and literally become part of the story of bringing this old house back to life. Every contribution matters. $50 matters. $500 matters. $5,000 matters. I’m not looking for one person to make this dream happen for me. I’m calling on my community to help me make it happen together. Consider This an Investment in a Mindset Manifesto If you choose to contribute, I want you to know what you’re supporting. You’re helping complete a home. But you’re also investing in me and the body of work I’m building. You’re supporting:The programs.
And you’re helping me prove something I deeply believe: We don’t have to build our lives alone. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is allow the people who believe in us to become part of the vision. Join My Team For most of my life, I’ve been someone who figures things out and keeps going. This chapter is asking something different of me. It’s asking me to receive. To ask. To allow people to help. And to believe that with enough love, creativity, resources, work, and people pulling in the same direction, something that once felt impossible can finally become complete. So this is me asking: Will you be on my team?
Because I’ve always loved the saying: We may not have it all together, but together, we have it all. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for believing in this dream. And thank you for helping me come home. With love, Jodi |
Help Me Get to Work by October 1
|
The vision is ready. The contractor is ready. And I’m ready.
My goal is to secure the $150,000 by October 1 so we can get to work and begin the final phase of bringing this 140-year-old Vermont home back to life. After everything it has taken to get here, I can finally see the finish line. Now I’m calling on my friends, family, clients, and community to help me cross it. Every contribution, package purchased, future stay reserved, and share moves us closer. The contractor is ready. October 1 is our starting line. $150,000 is our goal. Completion is the vision. Let’s bring it home. Choose How You’d Like to Participate: 1. MAKE A BIRTHDAY GIFT
